ISU Fun Run set
- Thirty children with disabilities will take part in the Stanbic Bank sponsored International School of Uganda (ISU) Fun Run at Lubowa today. The children are drawn from the Kampala Kids League (KKL) "A" League sports programme also funded by the Bank. The programme brings together boys and girls of different physical and intellectual disabilities who compete in sports activities whose rules are specially adapted to allow team competition to take place. The Fun Run will also have children from the Missionaries of the Poor, Kampala School for the Deaf and Kampala School for the Physically Handicapped. They will compete in a specially adapted 4x100m relay race as part of the day's activities.

- Ouma loses to Rosado us Asiku fights tough Clair
FORMER IBF junior middleweight champion Kassim “The Dream” Ouma, returned to the ring with a devastating loss against Gabriel “King” Rosado on Friday in New Jersey. Rosado (11-3, 6 KOS) scored the biggest win of his career with a ten round split decision over Ouma (26-6-1, 16 KOS).

- FUFA president Lawrence Mulindwa and the Cranes coach Robert Williamson have advised the victorious CECAFA squad to keep focus and discipline at their respective clubs if they should maintain their positions on the team.
