Uganda now has 25 political parties

FOLLOWING the referendum the Movement system is no more.
Uganda now has about 25 political parties. The big ones include NRM, UPC, FDC, DP, CP, JEEMA and PAP. However none of these parties is in power because the executive and legislature constituted on the basis of the Movement system are by law still Movement.
