BH Fitness comes with a Covid-19 booster. The Basque Fitness Machine Company closed 2020 with a 69.7% increase in sales compared to 2019, amounting to 43 million euros, the company reported in a statement. The company ended the year with an operating result of 5.7 million euros, which is higher than the more than 430,000 euros obtained in the year before the pandemic.

The company has recently centralized its subsidiaries. Since 2015, when BH Fitness generated sales of over 36 million euros and this coincided with the distribution of its business in subsidiaries around the world, the company’s income has fallen sequentially until last year.

The closure of its subsidiaries in the United States, China and Taiwan has allowed BH Fitness to reduce operating expenses and accommodate a group of twelve international clients. For its part, the company has grown in key markets such as Germany, France and Northern Europe.

Similarly, BH Fitness has signed cooperation agreements with some professional sports clubs in Spain, such as Atlético de Madrid, Athletic Club of LaLiga or Saski Baskonia of the Association of Basketball Clubs (ACB).

Founded in 1986 by Basque BH, the brand has emerged with a clear export profession of manufacturing and selling home fitness equipment to individuals. In 1996, the company developed and introduced the BH Hipower Seal, which is intended to sell equipment for professional use aimed at gyms and sports centers.
