Kariobangi Sharks fall in front of Tusker with ten men, Captain Juma sees red in Sofapaka defeating Nzoia Sugar

Ten-man Tusker scored the most points at Casarani Stadium after beating Kariobangi Sharks 4-2 in a Premier League soccer match on Saturday.

In the 24th minute, Marietta gave Bryan a deserved lead to Tusker. The brewery won a free kick to the left edge of the box. Aloro stepped up to take it and threw a pretty ball that Marietta greeted overboard by Boer.

Five minutes later, Tusker won a penalty kick after Ullwande threw Mooney Kevin into the penalty area. Meja was the man who took it and softly finished it, sending the goalkeeper in the wrong direction.

In the 32nd minute, the Sharks narrowed the gap through Eric Capito, as the striker got a nice pass from James Mazembe.

Before halftime, the sharks seemed to have stopped when Mega Marietta scored in the net as he scored his second goal of the match and third for Tusker.

In the second half, Tusker was reduced to ten men as Aloro was awarded a red card for a serious foul on Mokaya.

Three minutes later, Mejja scored his second goal to make it 4-1 as he took the ball into the penalty area and overtook Onyango before putting the ball past Bwire.

Eric Capaito scored his second goal of the match to make it 4-2.

Nzoia Sugar 2-1 sofabaka

At Sude Stadium, Sofabaka suffered a 2–1 loss to Nzoia Sugar, the first defeat for coach Ken Odiambo.

Nzoia had a good start on home soil and they were honored for showing early lead through Leonard Casembelli by defeating Simon Masaka for the first time.

Minutes later, Nzoia was terrorizing Sofapaka’s defense with Erick Otieno putting the ball past Masaka to make it 2-0.

In the 58th minute, Lawrence Gomaa narrowed the difference for the visitors, as he presented a beautiful cross to narrow the difference to one.

Sofabaka was reduced to ten men as Commander Jumaa received a direct red card.
