China continues to top the Olympic medal table for Tokyo 2020

China remains at the top of the medal table with 24 gold medals, followed by the United States with 20, and Japan with 17, at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.

After completing the ninth day, the medal table underwent changes as the United States removed Japan from second place.
