Seven XFL Players Signing with NFL Teams

The XFL’s 2023 season ended on May 13. While some of the players are getting a break of a few months to rest. Others will start right away with the NFL’s offseason training routine. But that’s why the XFL is so great: it’s helped a lot of players get into the NFL and given others a second chance at the next level.

Here are some XFL stars who have been in the news recently about the NFL because they are moving there.

So far, 51 XFL players have been signed by the NFL. Even though the NFL reports are true, not all of them will get into the league, but we’ll still cheer for the underdogs to make the NFL a haven with bet on nfl games online.

1. Ben DiNucci, QuarterBack

From Seattle Sea Dragons to Denver Broncos

Ben DiNucci was picked by the Dallas Cowboys in the seventh round of the NFL draft in 2020. Before he was released in 2022, he only played three games for the Cowboys and started one of them.

After being picked by the Sea Dragons in the first round of the 2023 XFL Draft, he was able to improve his skills in the XFL. He led the Sea Dragons to a 7-3 record by completing 242 of 374 passes for 2,671 yards, 20 touchdowns, three running touchdowns, and 13 picks.

2. Hakeem Butler, WideReceiver

From St. Louis Battlehawks to Pittsburgh Steelers

Hakeem Butler was picked up by the Arizona Cardinals in the fourth round of the 2019 draft. He also played for the Philadelphia Eagles for a while. Butler never found his place in the NFL, but this year he did very well as a tight end in the XFL. He caught 51 passes for 599 yards and eight scores, which got him named to the All-XFL team.

3. Jack Heflin, DefensiveLineman

From Houston Roughnecks to New Orleans Saints

In 2021, the Green Bay Packers signed Jack Heflin as an amateur free agent. He was also on the practice team for the New York Giants for a while before he was let go in 2023. Heflin also made the All-XFL defensive team this past season. He had a total of 25 tackles, one sack, and three tackles for a loss.

4. LaCale London, DefensiveLineman

From Louis Battlehawks to Atlanta Falcons

LaCale London was picked up by the Chicago Bears after he was not chosen in the NFL draft of 2020. He played for Chicago for two years before being let go in 2022.

In 2023, he played for the St. Louis Battlehawks and had 33 tackles, three sacks, and five tackles for a loss. After forcing two fumbles against the Sea Dragons in Week 2, he was named XFL defensive player of the week.

5. Jordan Thomas, TightEnd

From Orlando Guardians to Carolina Panthers

In 2018, the Houston Texans picked Jordan Thomas in the sixth round, and he moved around the NFL until 2022. This season, he caught eight passes for a total of 148 yards and three touchdowns for the Guardians. He also made a fake punt play that went viral.

6. Austin Faoliu, DefensiveLineman

From Seattle Sea Dragons to Seattle Seahawks

After the 2021 NFL draft, the Dallas Cowboys picked up Austin Faoliu as a free agent who wasn’t taken in the draft. Before he was let go in 2022, he played in one game.

He became well-known in the XFL after finishing the 2023 season with 24 total tackles, one sack, and two tackles for a loss. He also made the All-XFL defense team this year.

7. Bryce Thompson, DefensiveBack

From Seattle Sea Dragons to Miami Dolphins

Bryce Thompson wasn’t picked up in the draft in 2021, but he started for the Seattle Sea Dragons last season. He had 34 stops (21 solo and 13 with help) through the first 10 games of the season. He also had 0.5 sacks, 4 tackles for loss, and 2 interceptions.
