Lockman scored, and Zambo Anguesa bags help Fulham lose to Manchester United

The Nigerian striker and the Cameroon international got together well to give the Cottages a good start before the Red Devils fought for a win.

Ademula Lockman netted as Andre Frank Zambo Anguisa provided the assist as Fulham lost 2-1 to Manchester United in Wednesday’s Premier League match.

Lookman has made impressive performances for the cabin since he teamed up with FC Leipzig in the German Bundesliga this summer.

The Nigerian striker was one of Scott Parker’s men’s best performers against the Red Devils at Craven Cottage.

Lockman scored his third Premier League goal of the season in a showdown but his efforts were not enough to help Fulham continue their unbeaten run.

Cameroonian international Zambo Anjisa also gave an eye-catching performance against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men in their 18th league appearance this season.

Lockman opened the scoring early in the fifth minute after a great mix with Zambo Angisa.

His effort makes him the deadliest man against Fulham goal so far as he has now contributed six goals in the club’s Premier League league.

Edinson Cavani put United back into contention in the showdown when he tied in procedures with good effort.

Paul Pogba then snatched the match-winning goal to ensure his team got the three points and stopped Fulham’s unbeaten streak of seven games.

Lookman made his sixteenth appearance throughout all competitions for the Craven Cottage outfit.

Super Eagles defender and Lokman teammate Ola Aina lasted the show for 83 minutes before he was replaced by Alexander Mitrovic.

Zambo Angisa starred for 79 minutes before making way for Gabon international Mario Lemena, on loan from Southampton.

Nigerian striker Josh Onomah and DRC player Neeskins Kibano were unused substitutes.

Defeat eliminated the Cottagers in third place at the bottom of the league table after collecting 12 points from 18 matches.

Lockman will be hoping to continue his impressive performances when they face Fulham Burnley in the FA Cup on Sunday.
