Pinocchio trailer: in the magical world of "The Wooden Boy"

Pinocchio’s trailer is out. This clip features Oscar-winning actor Roberto Benigni as woodmaker Geppetto, introducing us to the magical world of “The Woody Boy”.

The main plot of the film will try to tell a story as old as time, about a wooden game that wanted to be a real boy. When passing by the trailer, Pinocchio feels like a movie that children and adults alike would enjoy. The frames we see in the clip have a dark and sharp quality, unlike Disney movies, which focus on keeping things light and acceptable to children.

Pinocchio’s official summary reads: “Filmed in stunning Italian locations, Matteo Garonne’s rich world of mystery and star wonders, Oscar-winning actor Roberto Benigni as Gepetto, the ancient wooden sculptor whose dolls made, Pinocchio, magically comes up with dreams of becoming a boy Real Pinocchio (nine-year-old Federico Elabe) collapses easily from a delusion, as he navigates from adventure to adventure as he is tricked, kidnapped and chased by bandits across a wonderful world full of fictional creatures – from the belly of a giant fish to the land of play and field of miracles. .

Directed by Matteo Garrone, Pinocchio will release this Christmas.
