With the escalation of global protests, Dear future children It is a film about the new generation at the center of this political change. We see Ryan protesting for social justice in Chile, Weber fighting for democracy in Hong Kong, and Hilda fighting the devastating consequences of climate change in Uganda. Taking on near impossible challenges and grappling with the impact of activism on their personal lives, we will investigate the motivations behind these three young women’s struggles.

Franz Bohm is a filmmaker originally from Stuttgart, Germany. At the age of 16, after working his way up to assistant director, he made his first solo film, Harmonie der Anderen. His next project revolved around the stories of homeless youth resulting in the documentary Christmas Wishes, which was selected as the opening film for the German Youth Film Awards. He also directed the short film Good Luck which premiered at the British Independent Film Festival. After working for the National Film and Television School and the production company 1185 Films, Franz is currently developing new projects in London. Dear future children It is his first feature film.
