Horizon Forbidden West reveals that this character is part of the LGBTQIA+ community

Horizon Forbidden West It was one of the biggest PlayStation exclusives of the past year. After months of waiting, the new expansion, Burning beaches, which is now available. This DLC not only expands on the overall story, but also delves into the backstory of some of the characters.

As expected, the additional content of the Guerrilla Games video game introduces new characters. Chief among them is Sika, a Queen warrior who will accompany Aloy on her new adventure across the volcanic archipelago located in the land that was once Los Angeles, California.

Aloy and Seyka are both strong willed and have a great sense of adventure, so in the official trailers you could tell that they had a certain kind of chemistry. With this in mind, fans wouldn’t be surprised to learn that these characters have romantic interactions in the game.

in one of the sequences Horizon Forbidden West: Burning ShoresThen, Sika tells Aloy she wants to be with her and hopes she feels the same way. Here, the player has 3 options: “Yes”, “I’m not ready for this” and “It’s too much for me”. If you choose the former, Aloy and Seyka will kiss and share an emotional moment.

For many years, the community speculated that the protagonist belonged to the LGBTQIA+ community, basing them on the fact that she is a clone of Elisabet Sobeck, who was a lesbian. Thus, this scene of the sequel’s DLC seems to confirm fan theories.

Although some users claim that it was forced to include and that Horizon Forbidden West is a “progressive” game, reception has been mostly positive. Many fans are happy that Aloy is openly lesbian.
