Guadalajara Marathon. Africa sweeps the competition

More than 6,000 runners took to the city’s main streets for a sporting party at the 2022 Guadalajara Marathon. As the cathedral bells rang again to welcome the duel again.
And because it was steady, the African competitors took the podium, highlighting a Mexican in the women’s branch.
In the men’s branch, the Kenyans made it 1-2-3. Edwin Kibet Koech took first place by crossing the finish line with a time of 2 hours 10 minutes 19 seconds. Kenneth Kiplagat Limo was second with a time of 2:10:46 and Simon Chiprutt took the podium in 2:11:22. Oscar Fernando Crisostomo was the best Mexican.
In the women’s division, Toroitich Linet Chebet of Uganda took first place with a time of 2:30:50. The second place was won by Jamila Wartissa Shore from Ethiopia, with a time of 2:32:48. Mexican Isabel Oropeza Vazquez completed the podium with a time of 2:34:48.
In the category of athletes, Mexican Martín Velasco took first placeHe is followed by compatriot Fernando Sanchez and Colombian Francisco San Clemente.
