The Peruvian national team will face the Mexican national team next Saturday, September 24, in the first international friendly match that will mean Renoso’s debut at the head of the “two-color” team. The duel will take place at Rose Bowl, Pasadena, California, from 8:00 p.m. (Peru).
The following Tuesday the 27th, Peru plays El Salvador at Audi Stadium in Washington, D.C. from 7:00 p.m., in the second and final friendly duel that will complete the first period of DT’s work in charge of ‘red and whiteA third friendly match is scheduled for next November, before the start of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
After all those called up arrived in the United States, Reynoso tried his first “dual-color” team to face Mexico. One of the variants he tried was the inclusion of midfielders duo Renato Tapia and Pedro Aquino.
