Facundo Torres has acknowledged Arsenal’s interest in him

Facundo Torres spent his first season in MLS with Orlando City with a great performance, which earned him his presence in the Qatar 2022 World Cup with the Uruguay national team.

The former Peñarol has been the protagonist, for some time, of various rumors linking him to a possible departure from the American team, in favor of the mighty English Arsenal.

In turn, the Uruguayan player added: “I would love to play in Europe. It’s a dream I’ve had since I was a kid.”

Torres was the champion of Uruguay and Peñarol was one of the key figures in this team led by Mauricio Larrera. So much so that his impressive performances led him to jump to the Uruguay national team and to football abroad.
