Inter Campus y UEFA Foundation for Children en África
Milan – “Buongiorno! Buenos Dias! Boom Dia! Good morning!” Thus begins every meeting with representatives of the four African projects. A group of languages and manner of speaking united by football and the colors of the Nerazzurri. The project started in January with the cooperation of UEFA Children’s Foundation It also continues at a distance. Building on the teaching methodology of Inter Campus, a new handbook will be developed on the topic of sport and resilience, with special attention to the African context and the needs of the communities involved.
For this, the active participation of our local representatives and coaches will be essential, who will help us put the theory into practice in cities like Luanda, Douala, Yaounde, Lubumbashi or the small towns of Dondo and Nagalama.
The team consists of: Juvia, Songo and Baito Angola; Francis, Roger and Thomas on Cameroon; Gabriel, Ugoy and Maguy for the Congo; Miss Josephine, Michael and Peter from Uganda. They are ready for a new and stimulating adventure that, although conceived as a physical encounter and temporarily transformed into a distant dialogue in the face of the current impossibility of mobility, will lead them to discover new cultures, and confront social issues related to the development of hundreds of children.
It will be a discovery for us, too, made up of unstable connections and low-resolution videos, but no less full of meaning and human closeness.
