Chile hosts a global event

Between August 12-14, 2022, Chile will host the Suzuki Rugby Sevens World Championship. The group that repeats the competition format for the Olympic Games, will randomly combine three groups of four teams according to gender. The first two of each quartet, plus the top two who were third, will advance to the quarter-finals.

The winning team will be awarded a promotion to the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC) World Rugby Sevens Series 2023, bringing the winners, male and female, to a consistent team in the World Rugby Sevens Series for the season. next one.
