Follow from Dungeon136 Shrine RestorationThey have now decided to “re-imagine” what home ownership is in the game. If you’ve played Breath of the Wild on your own, you’ll know how to save some supplies and rupees for Link’s house. This model seems to go further – by making it a “worthwhile buy”.
“Outside of Hateno Village is a comfy little house that you can buy and become a homeowner! In the base game, the house serves no purpose other than as a place to store some equipment (and complete the mission).”
“This mode reimagines having a home in BOTW to make it a worthwhile purchase – something you want to use regularly – all the time, while keeping the feel and balance of the original game.”
To achieve this, Waikuteru enhanced the home experience with a fast travel point, a warm fireplace to prepare meals, and a bed – which now allows Link to “sleep long” to reclaim three additional hearts, and there are also concept art paintings from the developers.
Topping it off with some “extra lighting and cool decor” and Link gets him his personal pet (hen). There’s also the ability to fish in the nearby pond for a Hylian bass and store your trusted mare in a stable.
What do you think of these improvements to Link’s home? Would you like to see her benefit more than she did in Breath of the Wild? Share your thoughts below.
